Meghan, Online Community Manager for The Lord of the Rings Online writes: This week, we're posting two new screenshots, including the Fields of Fornost. You can find them at the top of our screenshot gallery here.

We're looking forward very much to the LOTRO Gathering: Lunch of the Rings in Providence, Rhode Island on Saturday, August 13th. Details can be found here. Turbine will be attending with swag in hand; several members of the LOTRO development team, plus Alex "Ibn" Beckers from the AC1 team, the Turbine community director Jon "Calandryll" Hanna, as well as me.

PAX, in Bellevue, WA August 26-28, is approaching fast too! If you're attending, be sure to stop by the Turbine booth and say hi, or catch up with us at the Turbine-sponsored PAX party on Friday night. And drop me a line so I know you're coming! We'll be demo'ing the game all three days.
