Lavishly detailed role-play game features 'Rings' second string

For each of the last three years, we got three epic "The Lord of the Rings" movies. Now we're near the end of 2004, and Tolkien fans are going into withdrawal because there's no new film to look forward to. At least there's the extended-edition DVD of "The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King," as well as the lavish role-playing video game, "The Lord of the Rings: The Third Age," which takes players into the wartime lives of the "Rings" second string.
