Final LOTR title goes gold, to ship in early April

Aspyr today announced that The Lord of the Rings; The Return of the King has gone "gold", finishing development on the third-person action/adventure title; Due early next month, it "puts the fate of Middle-earth in the hands of the gamer... players must destroy the One Ring by casting it into the Crack of Doom, freeing Middle-earth from the clutches of the Dark Lord Sauron."
