Electronic Arts has announced a brand new RTS game based on the movies: LotR: The Battle For Middle-Earth. Gamespy has a ton of new screenshots plus a four page review featuring an in depth look at gameplay dynamics and unit control. The scale is huge and the graphics look fantastic.
