EA RETURNS TO MIDDLE-EARTH WITH THE LORD OF THE RINGS, THE RETURN OF THE KING ON MULTIPLE GAME PLATFORMS

REDWOOD CITY, Calif., April 25, 2003 - Electronic Arts (NASDAQ: ERTS) officially announced today the development of The Lord of the Rings(TM), The Return of the King(TM) for the PlayStation(R)2 computer entertainment system, the Xbox(TM) video game system from Microsoft, Nintendo GameCube(TM), Game Boy(R) Advance, and the PC.
